General

What is the best way to get started with the Ecoflex pipe and joint system?

The best first step is to contact us. An IPS representative can then evaluate what you are looking to do with the product and get you headed in the right direction. We can discuss the different services that are offered and if necessary, this will allow us to start some design work for you. Usually a sketch or details of what you are looking for, is very helpful. For more information, please see our Getting Started page.

Does IPS have any order minimums or box quantity requirements?

IPS does not have any minimum quantity requirements. However, special preferred price lists are volume based and discounts will be available with larger orders. Contact us for more information.

When I order a connector, does it come as a full connector set?

No, the connectors come in individual units. For example, in an ES-1 combo, you would need to order (2) E1's. An IPS sales representative can provide you information on joints combo sets or help with part requirements.

Are the Ecoflex products compatible with other tube and joints product lines?

Ecoflex products are compatible with 28mm pipe and joint system competitors. Our joints can fit on other pipes and vice versa, however it is not recommended to mix different brands of connectors (ie. an E1 joint with another brand's single joint connector). An IPS representative can help you with compatibility questions and crossover information.

How can I get a sample of Ecoflex parts?

IPS would be glad to provide a sample kit to you free of charge. This will include some small pipe samples, components, and fasteners for your evalutation. A sample kit can be ordered here.

What tools do I need to assemble Ecoflex structures?

Ecoflex can be put together with simple tools. Pipes and roller tracks can be cut with a hacksaw, chopsaw pipe cutter or bandsaw. All connectors are assembled with a M6 hex screws. An allen key or power tools can be used

Are there CAD files available for Ecoflex components?

Yes. CAD files are available in Solidworks and STEP formats and can be downloaded here.

What is the loading capcity of the Ecoflex system?

The loading capacity of an Ecoflex structure depends on a number of factors including span distances bracing and support. We have built Ecoflex strucutres to hold weights in excess of 3500 lbs when properly designed. An IPS representative can help you with your design and determine if Ecoflex is appropriate for your application. Technical data for Ecoflex pipes and components can be found here.

Shipping

What is the typical delivery lead time?

For most component orders, we ship next day. Local customers usually recieve their orders within 1-2 days. For kitted and turn-key solutions, lead time is generally 2-3 weeks depending on the complexity of design and size of the order.

Where do you ship?

We are able to ship anywhere in North America from our warehouse in Markham, ON Canada. For shipments outside of Canada, customs fees will apply.

What method do you use to ship?

The method of shipping depends on the size of your order. For larger orders (ie. full length pipes and rollers and/or full assembled structres, we will ship via LTL Freight. For smaller component orders, we can ship with small parcel carriers such as Fedex or UPS. Pick up can also be arranged if you prefer to use your own carrier.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs will vary depending on the size/weight of the order and destination. When ordering online, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

I'm ordering from outside Canada. What about brokerage and customs fees?

Customers from outside Canada are responsible for all brokerage and customs fees that may apply when crossing the border. Customers can choose to use their own customs broker, or we can ship DDP using our preferred broker for a flat rate of $150.

Payment

What are the accepted payment methods?

We accept orders via credit card and purchase order.

Do you provide credit/terms? How do I set up an account

Please contact us if you wish to set up an account. Upon approved credit, we can offer standard net 30 terms.

What currency do you accept?

We accept both Canadian Dollars (CAD) and US Dollars (USD). Please note, the currency switcher feature is for conversion purposes only. Currently, our online shop is set up to only accept US Dollars upon checkout. If you wish to pay in Canadian Dollars, please contact us to process your order over the phone.
